Due to construction, starting on July 28th the City's green site will be temporarily relocated to the downtown mall parking lot to the area south of the intersection of 4th Street NW and 5th Avenue NW.
Construction on the green site area is expected to last two weeks and once completed the containers will be moved back from their temporary location.
Reminder the green site containers are for recycling and yard waste only.
Demers Avenue from the Sorlie Bridge to 3rd Street NW will be closed starting Wednesday, July 21st until Friday July 30th. This is the second and final phase of the improvements that will be completed along Demers Avenue.
Starting Monday, July 12th the westbound lanes of Highway 2 from Fisher to East Grand Forks will be resurfaced along with improvements to turn lanes and intersections. Motorists can expect lane closures and head to head traffic.
